Overview:
As a Functional Application Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and transitioning local ERP and associated applications as our client prepares for a global ERP integration. This role requires proficiency in SQL queries, Visual Basic scripting, and incident management, ensuring the seamless operation and evolution of the client’s application landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance: Oversee the management of local applications, ensuring their optimal performance.
Incident Management: Address and resolve application-related incidents promptly.
Change Implementation: Implement necessary changes in the ERP system, ensuring minimal disruption.
Continuity Assurance: Maintain continuous availability and reliability of all applications.
Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of systems and processes.
User Support: Provide day-to-day support for application users, addressing queries and troubleshooting issues.
System Monitoring: Regularly monitor system performance and perform necessary maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.
Upgrades and Updates: Manage and coordinate software upgrades and updates, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in writing and analysing SQL queries.
Experience with Visual Basic scripting for occasional system changes (1-2 times per month).
Functional Experience:
Background in managing applications in areas such as ERP, warehouse management, logistics, finance, and invoicing.
Proven ability to manage incidents, handle documentation, and engage in stakeholder management.
Additional Requirements:
Proficiency in Dutch is preferred but not mandatory.
Availability to work 2 to 3 days per week in the office, with a higher frequency during the initial months.
